Dear CoreMed Members,
As we wrap up another year, we want to thank you for being part of the CoreMed community. Your trust and continued support make it possible for us to deliver accessible, reliable healthcare to families and businesses across Montana. We don't take that responsibility lightly.
Over the past year, many of you have reached out with questions about the changing landscape of the healthcare marketplace. As we move into 2026, Marketplace costs across the country are expected to rise again, and the amounts families must pay before anything helps are increasing as well, leaving many households paying more for something they rarely use.
This is exactly why CoreMed was built differently. Our goal has always been to simplify healthcare, keep costs predictable, and give you direct access to care without the barriers of traditional insurance. To maintain the stability of your membership, both our CoreMed Catastrophic and CoreMed Comprehensive programmes will see a modest 3% adjustment in 2026. There are no new fees, no surprises, and no hidden changes, just a small update that allows us to keep your membership sustainable long-term.
Making the most of your membership in 2026
- Unlimited visits and direct access to your CoreMed provider. You never have to hesitate to reach out. Whether it's a quick question, a concern about symptoms, or a need for follow-up care, use the access you're already paying for.
- Same-week X-rays and affordable imaging. If you're unsure whether you need imaging, reach out to your provider. We can guide you through the process and help avoid unnecessary high-cost procedures.
- Free generic medications through our pharmacy partners. Make sure you're taking advantage of the prescription programme included in your membership. It can significantly reduce your annual healthcare spending.
- Routine labs included annually. If you're due for labs or haven't had them this year, schedule them as you head into 2026.
- Support for navigating healthcare decisions. If you or someone you know is reviewing options on the Marketplace, we're always available to help compare costs, explain terminology, or walk through alternatives, even if they end up choosing something different.
A note about 2026 Marketplace changes
If you're still enrolled in a Marketplace option outside your CoreMed membership, or if you have family members exploring their choices, keep in mind that costs are increasing in most states, the amounts households pay before anything helps continue to rise, Montana families will feel these changes more than in previous years, and many households are now choosing hybrid approaches using CoreMed plus cost sharing.
