Memberships / What's included
Surgery and hospital stays
Planned or not, inpatient or outpatient, including intensive care.
Part of Catastrophic and Comprehensive.
Planned surgery
Tell CoreMed before it is scheduled. That gives time to confirm eligibility, work out the numbers with the facility and tell you what your share will be. Going in knowing the figure is the whole difference between this and a hospital bill.
You choose the surgeon and the facility. There is no network to stay inside.
Unplanned surgery
Get the care. Submit the need afterward. Nothing about an emergency requires a phone call first.
Intensive care and inpatient stays
Eligible inpatient care, including ICU, is shared beyond your IUA under Zion's guidelines. The membership documents set out how eligibility works in detail, and you get those before you join.
