These are the needs that turn into six-figure numbers, and they are the reason this part of the membership exists.
How treatment gets arranged
You choose where you are treated, including out-of-state centres. Tell CoreMed early so eligibility and the numbers are settled while treatment is being planned rather than afterward.
Ongoing treatment
A condition being treated over months or years continues to be eligible for its duration under Zion's guidelines, rather than resetting.

Common questions
Can I go out of state for treatment?
Yes. Eligible sharing applies anywhere in the United States, so a major cancer centre is not off the table.
How does the IUA work for long treatment?
The Initial Unshareable Amount applies per need, not per visit. Once you have met it for that need, further eligible expenses for the same need remain eligible.
What if I was already being treated?
Conditions treated or medicated in the 24 months before you join phase in over your first years of membership. Your CoreMed primary care is not affected by that.
